COACH SPOTLIGHT

CHARLIE CREECH
From beginning his racing career at the young age of 4 in the UK, Charlie has since become a household name in the sport and has become one of the go to motocross coaches here In WA. By the age of 10, he had already made a name for himself by quickly becoming one of the top 10 riders in the UK before making the move to Australia.
After getting a taste for his new home and the new competition that presented itself in the Junior ranks here in Aus, before moving up and becoming a senior, Charlie went on to compete in the pro MX series for multiple years. Whilst racing as a professional he gained invaluable experience, knowledge and built many meaningful relationships along the way. Charlie pushed himself to consistently finish in the top 10 at every round, achieving a career-high of 6th overall.
Since the pandemic, a few major injuries and the birth of his 2 sons, he has found a new love for enduro, desert and cross-country racing while still heavily competing in local motocross.

After stepping away from racing at a national level, Charlie has shifted his focus to helping the next generation of riders chase their dreams and has sculpted multiple national champions over the past couple of years.
He works with an elite group of riders and conducts on the bike coaching 3 days a week on weekly basis. Weather it’s doing long motos, sprints or technique work, he ensures to incorporate all the necessary types of training to ensure his rides can get the most out of every session.

After many hours spent at the track, in the gym and on the cycle bike during his professional career, Charlie always thought to himself “Am I doing the right thing?”. But it wasn’t until he started training heavily with other professional riders, following a structured program and began implementing the knowledge he gained about his training, did his riding and results take him to the next level.
Still to this day, Charlie strongly believes that the best training for motocross or off-road is just to ride as much as you can. However there is no point going out there and just riding. As he himself would say “Have a plan. Do the work. And have fun doing it!”
